: In Landing At White Falls, how come the ghols dont just
: shoot the ship right away?
Three reasons.
First, primitive cannon are terribly difficult to aim. Even now adays "finding the range" is an intrical part of the operation of artillery. ANd the ghols did not have laser guided missiles last time I checked.
Second, a moving target is very hard to hit when you are locked in a static possition, as the ghols in the fortification were.
Third, the ghols are still relitve novices when it comes to cannon and such, you cant expect them to be as accurate as say a dorf.
My question is, why was the dark occupieing the fort in the first place? No large dark armie was anywhere close to white falls at the time; and fetch and wights ususly dont go with raiding partys or scouts, they are too slow. There must be some troop movements we are not awaire of.
