In your question of the Summoner: From what I can tell, he is from Scales. The Codex tells of this man who would revive the Myrkridia. The forces of light were supposed to have lost the great war (according to the Light and Dark cycles [and according to GURPS]) and what better time to release Myrkridia than during a time of darkness. Was he forced to serve Soulblighter? I believe that any man WILLING to resurrect the Myrkridia would have had no problem becoming a follower of Soulblighter.
