Balor was Connacht, Connacht fought Moagim, the Leveler who controlled the Myrkridia, therefore Moagim IS one of Balor's old enemies.
However, IF the head was Hoagim, I doubt that the Nine knew it, and they wouldnt know that Moagim was one of Balor's old enemies since they didnt know that Balor was Connacht yet. And anyway, I doubt they would have been that trusting of a former-leveler.
