:plus it always gets destroyed by the leveller so they are :most likely having trouble building it into anything major
The whole fact that it's survived so many levellers is a testament to Gower's hardiness. While they may not have the awesome armies of the empire or the cities of the west, they have the incredible ability to survive beat-down after beat-down and not dissapear. An interesting thing to ponder is why the leveller doesn't just wipe it off the map. He just sweeps through it and forgets about it. This might be a case for its uselessness, but what about all those little villages that the fallen lords always seems so determined to absolutely destroy? Why don't they just smush Gower and be done with it?
