Thanks for the information Joy, but what I ment by competitive was that a company could openly compeat with microsoft without being crushed like an egg. When Standerd Oil was growing, back in the late 19th century, many companys produced competitive products. However, standerrd used a variaty of marketing and vending tactics (many of which where made illeagle after their breakup) to force most of its compitition out of buisness.
I know there are many good platforms out there that, given the chance, could be very competitive with Microsoft. However as things are now, most will not get that chance.
