Other then proving the tenacity of the Taken, the Books of the South through Water Sleeps doesn't fit with Myth very well... except Bleak Seasons, which frankly gave me the hebejebes...
I find it interesting that Cook's Soulcather plays with crows, as does Myth's Soulblighter...and that Balor was kinda predictible/old school baddie, similar to the Dominator, while the Souls were much more sinister and stronger then they looked.
Although the Black Company is clearly the inspiration for Myth, the World Knots appear to have come from Jordan's Wheel of Time series, which sucked ass compared to Black Company, and compaired to Myth...
