In Response To: Si vis pacem, para bellum (Legolas)
: Part of a Myth 2 flavor text is "Si vis pacem, para
: bellum". I wandered what it meaned so I checked
: out, and it is Latin for something like: If you want
: peace, you must prepare for war. My question is: does
: anyone how a Latin text got into the Myth world?
To put it simply, latin is in the Myth world because the Myth world is a creation of Jason Jones, and Jason seems to enjoy putting latin phrases in every game he makes. For example, Marathon is filled with latin at every turn. Even the AIs speak some latin. So, there ya go. Its just one of those designer quirks.
