: My theory is that the head was lifeless, just lying under
: the ground dead, until the Deciever, with an intrigate
: plot to destroy the nine, the watcher, and prehaps all
: the other Fallen Lords!, and in return for a chance to
: avenge his defeat at the hands of Balor, and as a
: sighn of gratitute for bringing him back from the
: dead, the Head swore alliegence to him. However the
: head remained buried but kept alive by the Decievers
: magic, this allowed The Nine to sence and unearth it.
: However the head fed them false information, and when
: they found it was a tool of the dark, many former
: legions of the light rose unexpectadly in defense of
: the head. Now lets think, the head doesnt seem to have
: any magical powers... hmmm who do we know that likes
: to convert his enemies to his side? Ill give you a
: hint, it starts with a D.
It's certainly possible. In fact, maybe The Head isn't alive at all, but is simply a puppet operated by The Deceiver. I'm not going to defend that suggestion, though, just put it with the other 6 million unprovable and undisprovable Head theories.
: Why would Moagrim help Balor, the hero who defeated him?
: Remember that Balor was Connacht? Moagrim would
: probably hate Balor more than anyone.
Yeah, but if The Head was still in its "Moagim" personality, that would mean it was still possessed by the Leveler. In which case it and Balor would be essentially the same person and they'd help each other. And if The Head was in its "Tireces" personality, it probably wouldn't have to lie and pretend that it was an Avatara of Connacht. Remember that even Alric and the rest of the Nine didn't realize that Balor was Connacht until The Head helped them put the pieces together. They probably didn't realize that Tireces became Moagim either, so if The Head revealed itself as Tireces they would have treated it as a friend. Ow, my pointlessdiscussionsabouttheheaditis is acting up. I'd better quit. If you've got the stamina to defend your theory against all comers for the next few months, good luck.
