Yeah, I thought of this after I posted; so here is my reasoning. One of the Deceavers texts had a description of a twenty five mile ring of corpses surrounding covinent, and that is was there he made his headquarters.
Sence there is evidence supporting the view that SB took covenent first this must mean that he left to lick his wounds, leaving the Deceaver to occupie the territory, or that the Deceaver drove him away shortly after the battle was concluded.
