: I thought it came from the way some rank h00rs speak. But
: who named it TROSPEK? And I don't think its possible
: to actually speak TROSPEK, its just a written b.net
: dialect. How the bloody hell would you pronounce
: "M TRO KIKED UR FASE!"?
In the Good® Ol' Days™ (before everything was trademarked), the stereotypical rankh00r played BC TRO and only BC TRO (that is, Body Count on "If I Had A Trow..."). They came to be called BC-TRO'ers by some, and eventually just TROers (ruining the whole map, which is actually good for Terries and CTF, for everyone else). They way they spoke, thusly, was TRO speak, which eventually was TROSPEK-ized into the current TROSPEK. It's also sometimes called simply TRO (as in, "speking tr0"), as well as older variants like "hax0r" (and "hax0r speak"), "lamer talk", "Lemurspeak", and my old favorite "lemish".
