Others may think differntly but I am fairly certen that this information is mostly correct.
Covinent was sacked by Soulblighter, who slaughtered every one in the city and surrounding countryside. You are correct about the time, I beleave a quot supports it. "...Knows of a tunnel that the royle family used to escape when Soulblighter leveled the city twelve years ago".
I think the Deceaver may have taken up residence in the ruins or driven Soulblighters damaged army away shortly after the battle.
The only detail of the actual battle that I am aware of is the use of wights to poision the citys water supply. This suggests to me that Soulblighter was plaining for or conducting a protracted sieg of the city.
Thats about all I can think of right off the top of my head. If you find any more please post it here. I have been writeing a story about the battle that (hopefully) will be a part of a much larger tale.
