My thought is that a living Trow is not part of the One Dream, since he was sculpted and given life by Nyx. When killed and reduced to a pile of rubble, he becomes part of the Wyrd-created world again--the rubble's washed into the sea, turned into sedimentary rock, remade into mountains, etc--and so reenters the One Dream. Another possibility is that dead beings will "come alive again"--either in the sense of physical resurrection or in the sense of a fully-conscious Wyrd recalling them in his mind--once the One Dream has been restored and Wyrd has been healed, so dying creatures are said to be be returned to the (future) One Dream.
