Nope, because Clovis was the first Emperor, not Connacht, and it is said that Connacht rose to the Emperor's throne - meaning that Clovis must have been Emperor before Connacht, meaning there must have been an Empire before Connacht.

All we know of Connacht's origins is from the Myth TFL prologue, "...the Edge of All, the land between the land and nothingness, out beyond Gower, where Connacht arose". Connacht arose on the Edge of All, out beyond Gower.
