I would like to make a Brief interjection here.
It occurs to me that Mazzarin was indeed the most powerful avatara known.
I also know that he was killed by The Watcher, and resurected as a shade.
Additionaly I remember Mazzarin being killed in Myth TFL, when 18 berzerks travel to kill The Watcher.
So its reasonable to say that when he fell to pieces in the Dire Marsh that was the end of his life (and unlife), and he was free to be reincarnated.
The Point is WHY would he be reincarnated as a dark entity.
How could it be proven that he MUST have been reanimated as The Summoner, a diminutive twit, that resurects Myrkridia because hes too weak to fight on his own.
I will say that its -possible- The Summoner = Mazzarin.
However I find it hard to believe such a powerful force would be reanimated as a two-bit dark pawn, i.e. The Summoner
(note: somehow Mazzarin would fit the role of a Fallen Lord beter, if indeed he remains turned to the dark IMHO)
