The only problem I see is that the Myth world is not the same as our world... but remember Aye mak Sicur (sp?) and Electric Sheep?... alternate realities, my friend, perhaps the Myth world is a present day alternate reality for PiD or Marathon. Perhaps in the Myth world the Leveler is more powerful, so he appears every 500 years and destroys civilization, hence the slow developement of our world... but in ours, he may be weaker and manifest himself less often. Remember what the Human mnarine says? I was Achilles, Beowulf, etc. I was dead a thousand times or something like that...
i think we're close to something here though. Maybe Halo or Oni will tie it all together...
