It's smelly and oily and kinda flaky icky yuk.
My thoughts:
AsylumHL (not ANHL; it's not just for Asylum Night, it's for all Asylumers) is a Very Good Thing. The plugin is up there; good. We should get all the official AN films and reports up there too, plus the entire AN Standard (if it isn't already up).
Open AN is also a good idea. I say we wait till a big number like AN30 (which would be May 20th, right around the beginning of Summer), then go open. But we'll have to start using the password more: only people who can actually answer the question on the page will be let in, otherwise we'll be left with a bunch of lemurs who wanna play net games against eachother.
The Asylum plugin needs to be worked on. Some folks are really slow and/or buggy. I think I'd improve mine by making me force-field different, somehow reducing the number of particles without reducing visibility. Then we need an official Asylum map; I have a "map of Bungie.net" all layed out in my head that we could use, though I couldn't do anything but the heightmap and unit/scenery placement.
We need to do other projects too. The Genesis of Myth is one. Short stories are another; perhaps dramatic narratives of historical events only briefly mentioned in the games, or original stories which reveal the subtle Myth-story information we've dug up over the years.
I think a story about the generations of one family all the way from the First Era through the present - perhaps written as a family history book, dotted with personal journal entries and such - would make a great overview of the grand cyclical history of Myth.
