: Hmm good points made about the distruction of muirthemne.
: It is probable the dark swept through the east as one
: large force at first and spread out only after
: distroying the Cath Bruig Empire. Incidentily, and
: this may have been discussed but where WERE the Heron
: Guard during the sack of Muirthemne? How could they
: have been so far away as to have missed the attack
: entirely?
Most of the Heron Guard were at Muirthemne, and died there. A hundred veteran Guards, however, were fighting at (I believe) Bagrada, the pass in the Cloudspine. Hence they missed the attack.
: Im also quite interested in just what the rest of the
: world looks like. Theres a whole lot that could be
: created, as the general map of myth covers only a tiny
: fraction of what the whole world is like. We know the
: Province has boats and is able to sail to other lands,
: wouldnt it stand to reason that there might be much
: more land, perhaps uninhabited, to explore. This also
: raises the question of how much land is controlled by
: the dark, the light, and how much is simpily empty. I
: origionaly was considering the status of Avernus and
: Gower, and what lies beyond the Kingdoms there, and
: the edge of all.
: Someone mentioned some new creative story writing, Id be
: interested in this as Id like to explore some of the
: fascets of the game that are lose ends and never gone
: into.
I suggest you get Myth GURPS. Whether you take it as canonical or merely an aid to the imagination, it's got lots of nifty info. You can check it out at the Bungie Store.
: One last point, Is the structure on the south western
: island look like a lighthouse to the rest of you?
Yup. We think this might be Leix (you know, where the pirates came from).
