In Response To: The Summerer(y) (Nick O'Keefe (aka Plague Bearer))

: Well, I have to say that the response that has been given
: to this posting indicates that we all want to kepp the
: Asylum going and we're all good for many years yet. I
: agree with Ducky on many points.

I noticed this, and I'm very happy. Just a few hours after I posted the original message, there were already four replies just to that, so I know people are still here. They just aren't making as many ideas. That's fine, but we still have to stay together.

: Asylum Night is a very important time, we all get
: together play a bit of Myth, tell a few jokes and
: discuss some story aspects. Things you only notice by
: playing the game. Fewer people have been coming to
: this, and it's true we all have other commitments, for
: example I think my play rehersals are on at the same
: time AN starts for the next couple of months or so.
: Maybe we should reschedule in order to have more of us
: present.

Dammit all to hell! I'm really not going to be able to make it to many AN's either until my school gets out (the end of May), and unless AN takes place during the day on saturday, or during the day on sunday, it's not lookin' good. I proposed that once summer starts we reschedule for a time when we can make it more often, and we have more than one AN per week, just for the people who can't make it to one. Just an idea, but the rescheduling is a must.

: Ducky is also right about the eRPG we can get this going
: & other creative things and we'll be doing well
: keeping the Asylum going and most of all having a good
: time.

Another thing that we should do until the eRPG comes back is make our own little side-stories for Myth. Bungie made the game so that there is only a small part of the world is actually discussed, so we should come up with theoretical ideas for what else is out there. That's pretty much what Chimera was, and that was Bungie sponsored, so might as well.

: ANHL is good, it would be better if we could meet there
: more often. I understand it's something we need to
: expands etc. that's why I'm doing my best for it. I'll
: be addressing the hardware issue tomorrow (stores
: reopening after Easter) because people in the house
: just don't seem to appreciate that the computer MUST
: be left on all the time. If you have any old macs you
: want to send it'd be appreciated :)

This is what I see as being the new leg for the Asylum. ANHL is our savior, and it would be a crime for us to not use it to it's full potential (or at least close to it). HEY! I've got an idea. If someone could get the ANb4 plug and separate each unit into its various tags, and put those onto the files section of ANHL, each person could try to make little additions to his own unit... even for people like me with no FearSkills™, we could at least take a peek and keep some creative juices flowing, right? cool!

: Let's keep things going and being creative, by the look
: of things we've all got the right attitude.

YEAH! Hey, people! Email me with ideas, and I'll... oh, damn.

Due to technical difficulties, I can't upload things to the AN homepage. I'll talk to forrest about that now... Email me anyway!
