Out of everything I have heard so far, I agree that the Mahirs are shadows of the Shades... They look the same right? But here are a few things to go against this opinion, If the Mahir are numoros (like in twice born or The Forge) Why doesn't soulblighter get a few of the shades over there awake. I would rather have 2 Mahir and 2 Shades that 4 Mahir. The Mahir could do their bind thing that paralizes all units and the shade could do dispersal. And not to mention shades are just a bunch more nasty than mahir. And soulblighter has em all asleep sending their shadows after you. You would think he would rather have the real thing!
