I assume this is the distence between Madrical and Scails, sence Madrical was the city the narrater was located in when he wrote that paticular entery, and Scails was the last place he mentioned that had fallen to Soulblighter.
This can be taken as an actual distence, because the narrater probobly knew the sum distence between the two citys and would not have known how close to strand the dark armies where.
