It would be fitting to use one of the early early comets who actually got ranked #1 by playing multiple games/types, including light maps, no less. :) Loki would likely be a good choice... he was widely regarded as an amazing player. Kain (or at least the growing tendency to play for rank instead of fun) *did* actually sort of drive him off from Bungie.net, if I recall correctly... fits rather well. :)
