Nope; the original was:
"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the land which the LORD God had made. And he said unto Eve, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every fruit in the garden?"
So that's God's grammar, not mine. Don't criticize God ;-)
