: I agree, they would be the two poles of order/chaos.
: You cannot so that people close to the light pole are
: therefore more orderly (while still within the lands
: of men) and vice versa. Rather it would be those
: contained within the lands of the poles.
: Also perhaps the Light pole is litterally joy hapiness,
: and the Dark pole is evil.
: The the land of men is where balance is conserved, After
: all we know that men can be both evil and good
: (Brigands etc). That is why men cannot live in the
: Light region.
: Just a bit of a potted though which I don't really
: understand.
You sound rather odd in this post. Late at night?
The thing I was trying to say is that neither order nor chaos is good; a balance between them is. Pure chaos would be absolutely nothing, just random probabilities in an empty space. Pure order would be absolutely nothing, just a blank slate. Both are, obviously, not very nice situations. The closer you get to the perfect balance between them, the "lighter" you get.
So I'm saying, at the north and south poles are pure order; around the equator is chaos. But at some point far east from the known map, things are much more extreme; pure order near the poles, pure chaos near the equator. This I call the Far East; it is the Dark Pole.
But as you travel away from that point, things get more moderate, more balanced. At a point far west from the known map is a land of pure balance and order. This is called the Faraway; it is the Light Pole.
In short, light does not neccesarily equal order, nor does dark equal chaos; light is balance, while dark is extremes.
