It's quite simple.
In the TFL "Forest Heart" level, we find a great idol, half-buried in the ground.
In the Myth II "Relic" level, this idol is now facing up at the sky.
What's it looking at?
Space.
As a reward for their environmental activism, the Forest Giants were abducted by our enlightened aluminum-foil-wearing little gray brothers from the Pleiades.
