: 1:1
: Thus the tagset and the mesh were finished, and all the
: host of them.
: 1:2
: And on the seventh day Bungie ended their work which they
: had made; and they rested on the seventh day from all
: their work which they had made.
: 1:3
: And Bungie blessed the seventh number, and sanctified it:
: because that in it they had rested from all their work
: which Bungie created and made.
: 1:4
: These are the generations of the tagset and of the mesh
: when they were created, in the day that Bungie made
: the tagset and the mesh,
: 1:5
: And every scenery of the mesh before it was in the
: tagset, and every LPGR of the mesh before it grew: for
: Bungie had not caused them to be placed upon the mesh,
: and there was not a player to test the map.
: 1:6
: But there went up a cursor from the toolbar, and clicked
: the whole face of the mesh.
: 1:7
: And Bungie formed Ghast of the corpses on the ground, and
: breathed into its orifices the Dream of Unlife; and
: Ghast became an undead soul.
: 1:8
: And Bungie flooded a marsh eastward near Avernus; and
: there they put the Ghast whom they had formed.
: 1:9
: And out of the ground made Bungie to die every tree that
: is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree
: of death also in the midst of the garden, and the tree
: of ignorance.
: 1:10
: And a river went out of Avernus to water the marsh; and
: from thence it was poisoned, and became into four
: deaths.
: 1:11
: The name of the first is swamp: that is it which
: compasseth the whole land of the Dire Marsh, where
: there is mud;
: 1:12
: And the mud of that land is dank: there is iron and the
: dirt stone.
: 1:13
: And the name of the second death is drowning: the same is
: it that compasseth the whole banks of the Gjol.
: 1:14
: And the name of the third death is undead: that is it
: which cometh from the east beyond Gower. And the
: fourth death is starvation.
: 1:15
: And Bungie took the Ghast, and put it into the Dire Marsh
: to stand and rot.
: 1:16
: And Bungie scripted the thrall, saying, Of every thing of
: the marsh thou mayest freely kill: 1:17
: But of the tree of the knowledge of the most basic
: concepts, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day
: that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely think.
: 1:18
: And Bungie said, It is not good that the Ghast should be
: alone; I will make it an help meet for it.
: 1:19
: And out of the ground Bungie formed every beast of the
: mesh, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto
: the Ghast to see what it would call them: and
: whatsoever the Ghast called every living creature,
: that was the name thereof.
: 1:20
: And the Ghast gave plagues to all cattle, and to the fowl
: of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for
: the Ghast there was not found an help meet for him.
: 1:21
: And Bungie caused a deep sleep to fall upon the Ghast,
: and it stood there: and he took one of his pustules,
: and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
: 1:22
: And the pustule, which Bungie had taken from Ghast, made
: he a Wight, and brought it unto the Ghast.
: 1:23
: And the Ghast would have mumbled, had it any brains, This
: is now puss of my puss, and death of my death: it
: shall be called Wight, because it was taken out of
: Ghast.
: 1:24
: Therefore shall a Ghast leave his father and his mother,
: and shall stand by his Wight: and they shall be one
: patrol.
: 1:25
: And they were both naked, the Ghast and his Wight, and
: were not ashamed, for they thought nothing at all.
