and the war in the west started 17 years ago.
but the war in the north started 7. years ago when tyr was sacked and the dark passed into the northern land.

and see DS Muirthemne was sacked in the wolf age 50 years ago, not in the start of the sword age, and i think that an age were the most powerfull empire in the world is sacked is a very dark age.
