: AN23 began on Bnet2 with Forrest, Ducky (yay!), Smea, and
: Vince. We moved to Bnet1 after deciding nobody else
: was coming.
: There we discussed things such as the Head, which lead to
: a debate on teh validity of GURPS, which lead to a
: discussion of roll-playing and WW's eRPG (bring it
: back!), which lead to a discussion about books... and
: so on. Eventually we played "Heart of the
: Stone" and tried to do the bridge-trick, but
: failed and just won normally. But still, we won! We
: also pontificated on the meanings of the runes.
: Then we played "The Smiths of Muirthemne".
: Forrest and Smea pointed out the engraving on the Tain
: artifacts to Ducky and Vince, and Forrest postulated
: that the Fetch were not only of the same world as the
: Spiders, but the same evolutionary chain - that under
: their humans skins they were some sort of bug-women,
: perhaps that little thing portrayed above the Myrk
: faces on the Tain gate.
: He pointed out that the Fetch were summoned from another
: dimension, the Tain forces people into another
: dimension (see GURPS), and the Tain apparently has
: shrines that send people to the world of the
: Spider-Gods in another dimension (see comic). Smea
: pointed out that, if the Fetch were from the Tain
: world, why do they still serve Balor if they're alreay
: home, and why do they still get smitten by Wyrd when
: their skin is punctured? Forrest countered that the
: Tain is just an intermediary world between the two
: dimensions, neither here nor there, and that thus the
: Fetch aren't home yet, and can still be smitten by
: Wyrd.
: Someone pointed out that the magic crystals are actually
: tiny, pulsating Tains!
: We won that level.
: Then Ducky had to go, and Plague Bearer joined. We played
: 5 Champions and won easily. Then we played Out Of The
: Barrier and while discussing an Asylum HL amongst
: other things we died. Then again, and again. The last
: game Smea disappeared. After it Vince went to look for
: him and never came back. Darth Bane from CGHL joined,
: but left while Nick and Forrest were discussing his
: validity in participation (in private chat). Forrest
: didn't want to play with just two people, so we
: disbanded.

Hey... I didn't leave until after the five champions. :)
That was a very good AN, I think. I don't remember that much debating going on since... well, I don't know. Have we done barbarian valley in an AN yet?
