: I would have to disagree. Obviously, according to the
: flavor and storyline, Forest Giants have been in
: conflict with the Trow for quite a while, possibly
: from the begining of time.
The earliest we know of the Forest Giant was that they hate the Trow because they "poisoned the soul of iron". In the comic, this is mentioned. The Oghres rebelled but the Trow "had a powefull ally.. and one iron had tasted blood... it became insatiable". So basically, the Trow were the first to use iron tools as weapons. After they eliminated the Oghres, they abandoned "iron and his kin", leaving them to the "younger, less wise races".
But, since the younger races were all created at once, the Forest Giants - even if a younger race - would have been around to see the Oghres rebell after their 12,000 years of slavery.
: Prehaps they are opposing forces of nature, the abounding
: life of the forest vs. the cold lifeless existance of
: clay, stone, iron, etc.
: Or prehaps in the begining, the Trow and the Forest
: Giants worked together as brothers, living together
: off of the Forest. However as the Trow broke away from
: Mother Nature, begining to cut down trees to build
: thier mighty cities, the horrified Forest Giants
: retreated farther into the Forest, and so the great
: hate between them began.

Interesting theory, but I believe they're false.
