: What was happend to Rabican and to Maeldun?

The Watcher was no where near Madrigal which is where Rabican was. I don't know about Maeldun but I think he was also at Madrigal. It's possible that they were the two that were killed in the civil war at Madrigal caused by confronting the head. I'm not sure it says which two where killed there but if it wasn't them then they probably stayed at Madrigal 'till the bitter end if for no other reason than the entire city was surrounded. I 'spose it's possible they could escape by World Knot but their means of sea travel were probably limited since boats had no cannons at the time making them worthless in war the wood would have been sent somewhere else.
