None from TFL (Warriors, Archers,Dwarves,Berserks)fought against Soulblighter.In MYTH 2 they fought their children or their grandchildren.You can see this from their names.(which are realistic)The heroes of the past(sush as Balin,Mauriac)trained the new generation.I think the same happend with the heron guard.
King Alric is mortal! As mortal was Cu Roi,Murgen,Rabican,Maeldun and the other avataras who died!
Personally,I don't think that Alric needed to keep secret his age or tric us.Again I still think that is a powerfull avatara(Maybe the best)-a good magician but he is mortal.
