Did you notice in Antero's Bestiary that the Trow refer to Iron as a person rather than a thing?

Do you think it was possible that Mazzarin and The Watcher were arch rivals and were always fighting?
It seems logical. They were both very powerful sorcerers during the Age of Reason (I think) and since Mazzarin was the "good" guy and the Watcher the "bad" it seems like they would constantly fight each other. And then one day The Watcher brought his 7 waves of Thrall and KIKd Mazzarin.
Bungie could have killed off Alric in Myth TFL and the cycle would still be all fine and dandy. I was playing the Last Battle and at the end he is being rushed by Myrms. Although he could have used one of his dispersal dreams. I think Bungie was unsure whether or not they wanted to kill Alric so they left it open.
