Very nice. I think you have a point here. The writers of history are human. The Leveller kills them, for a good reason mind you, yet they percieve him as bad. I bet the forces allied with Balor thought the same thing of Alric. Balor still thinking he was good explains his nasty attitude toward Alric, thinking he was the bad one, interupting his work.
