: AN22 began with Forrest, Face, and Smea on Myth II B.net.
: Face and Forrest talked about Mythmaster things while
: Smea ran off to load his plugins. But that was wholly
: unneccesary as we were just going to Myth TFL B.net.
: Forrest commented on a Fetch carving in "Smiths of
: Muirthemne", reinforcing the theory that the
: Fetch are from the same other plane as the
: Spider-gods, the Tain dimension. He thinks maybe,
: since Connacht sent the Krids there, that's how he
: knows how to get the Fetch from there, even without
: the Tain.
: Then we played The Watcher and lost.
: SD joined for a moment, just to say they he couldn't stay
: cuz he had to go do something with his girlfriend, and
: then left. We talked about our own lack of GFs. Then
: we changed the subject to that of the Shades on
: "The Watcher". Forrest says that there was
: only supposed to be one Shade; the first one was
: supposed to teleport out before he died, then teleport
: back in later, damaged with no dispersal dreams. He
: thinks that Bungie just messed up the scripting or
: something. Face countered that they intentionally
: changed it for some reason, and that the second Shade
: was just hurt in the first attack on the Watcher.
: Then we played The Watcher again, and won! (Barely)
: Then we played "The Smiths of Muirthemne".
: Forrest pointed out that the oblisks have a Myrk logo
: on them; the skull/face thing just below the
: diamond-shaped lights is the same design that appears
: on the Myrkridian standard. Smeagol wondered what the
: other face at the bottom of the oblisks was, the one
: that appears to be wearing a hat.
: Anyway, we lost that game. And the next try of that
: level. Then, on the third try, Dan did most of the
: work while Forrest and Smea discussed the carvings on
: the Tain-gate. Forrest pointed out that Fetch thing he
: was talking about earlier, at the bottom of the inside
: surface of the gate. The thing with horns and boobs
: and pointy elbows and really long forearms. Smea
: pointed out that what Forrest had thought was a
: crystal ball or something was actually the thing's fat
: stomach, and that it also had its legs spread in the
: air, with what appears to be a hooded face in its
: crotch. He asked, Is this thing giving birth to the
: Summoner? Forrest, ever the sicko, noted that the
: thing was wearing garters.
: Other things are on the gate, too. Two Myrkridian
: skull-faces (the Standard design) on its front/back
: sides, and some weird thing that Forrest insists looks
: like some strange bug-woman above them. (It's got a
: nondescript head, a torso with cleavage, and some
: spherish thorax, with arms coming off the torso and
: reaching down behind the thorax). And on the top of
: the gate are spiders.
: Dan wondered, would the Smiths have taken all this time
: to carve things on structures they never expected to
: see again? Perhaps they DID expect to see them
: again...
: Then we went off to Myth II to play Creation's awesome
: new Barbarian Valley. Smeagol didn't have the new
: version though, just the old one, so he couldn't play.
: Forrest and Dan lagged so bad they lost without any
: chance to fight back. Then Forrest had to go and Dan
: was left all alone on Bungie.net.
