Of course I don't NEED to, but I agree with Sili. I've even extended his theory into a bigger, 8-Era cycle, to explain how the current age isn't fux0red. Basically, after the four-era cycle of SD's, there's another four eras where things are inverted; the guy from the West always wins, instead of the East, so when the C-spirit (Balor) is supposed to win according to the old cycle, the A-spirit (Alric) wins instead; it becomes an age of Light instead of an age of Dark.
So, where you'd normally have...
