Bungie never said who Nyx was either, there was just some "shrine of Nyx" comment in Out Of The Barrier. Then the comic came out and all this new info on who Nyx is and what she did with the creating the Trow and all came into play.
Likewise, Bungie never even hinted at who the Head was other than who he said he was. He said he was an old advisor to Connacht and an enemy of Balor's. And really old, Light power could lay claim to that. Face it: you pulled the "Head is Moagim" thing out of your ass because you needed one for ther old CoD plot (I'd still like to see that level "Soulblighter's Temple" secret level, BTW - sounded very cool). That's fine - I wish I would have overruled you back then when you knew nothing about Myth's story and relied on me for it all, but I had no stance on the Head at that time. But now there's a strong suggestion toward a completely different identity in a BUNGIE-AUTHORIZED SOURCE. YOU ARE NOT A BUNGIE-AUTHORIZED SOURCE. GURPS OVERRULES YOU.
On the cover of GURPS is a Bungie logo. Inside GURPS, the credits say "Playtesting by Allen Turner AND THE CREW AT BUNGIE", and "Additional support by Paul Clift AND DOUG ZARTMAN", and "BASED ON THE SETTNG BY ROBT MCLESS". If you've never met them, Allen and Doug and Rob are all long-time Bungie employees, as are, obviously, "the Crew at Bungie". They went through it and said "Looks great!". They put their logo on the cover. They sell it as official Bungie-authorized merchandise from the Bungie Store. You can't get much more official than that.
A vague mention of Moagim in another Bungie-authorized source (the comic), especially one that is further clarified in a later source (GURPS), is not enough of a leg to stand on for a Head = Moagim theory. And "all the evidence" in the games that you've pointed out is, well... not much.
Say... got any theories on who the Summoner is? You seem good at pulling "solid" connections out of your ass.
