: Wyrd is the good god in Myth. He created the world and
: most Light races worship him.
And (for Duffman's benefit) Wyrd is the Norse Fate. Sometimes it just means the concept; sometimes it means the goddesses who embodied it.
: Myth draws a LOT from Celtic mythology. I want to say Nyx
: was a Celtic goddess as well, but I remember her being
: the daughter of Chaos, who was Greek.
Though I know nothing about this, it *is* possible that there was a Celtic goddess of the same name. Not that there was a direct connection between the two pantheons, but all the words for "night" in European languages have the same Indo-European root. (Hence "night," from the Germanic branch, and "nocturnal," from the Greek branch.) So a Celtic goddess of the night would probably have a name that sounded something like Nyx.
