It's new material. There's lots of new material in GURPS. Besides, it isn't said for CERTAIN that The Head is Segoth, it's just the best theory we've got.

"All other sources" being one vague reference in the comic to Moagim when Rabican was fighting Shiver; which GURPS explains as Shiver taunting Rabican with an image of Moagim.
