Who says no spiders got out? If Chimera is any indication, a few did.
Besides, Murgen freed the legion, which broke the Tain, not vice-versa. If he had been trying to free the spiders, I suppose that would have happened.
In Myth II, the were in a piece of the broken Tain. This was made clear in the narration.
