Under "Legends and Lore" you will will find a link to the Journal of the Legion, which has the Chimera Storyline layed out nicely.

As for humans and dwarves fighting orcs and trolls, get real. Bungie may have twisted some old stories, myths, and names to make their game, but it certainly came out as a fresh fantasy realm. Falling back on a canned, cliche enmity between humans and orcs would be a major step backward. And there's not a chance Bungie will do that.
