Correct that an Age is the (presumably) 500-year reign on one power, while an Era is the complete cycle, from the death of one Leveler to the next.
However, it is the Wolf Age, not the Wolf Era. Ages are named; Axe Age, Age of Reason, Wolf Age, Wind Age, Sword Age, etc. Eras are numbered; First, Second, Third, . . . and we're on the Seventh right now.
