: Scholomance". While I think this could easily be
: a city or area in the myth world, the wording in
: comparision to other flavor texts leads me to believe
: that the Scholomance is something different. My two
: best guesses are that it's either a university/library
: (as in, a place), or a "school or
: learning"/study.
I've always thought that the Scholomance wasn't an actual place of any sort, but the name of the organization of Warlocks spread around the world. Like, for example, the UN: is the UN any place in particular? No. It's just the organization formed by a bunch of countries. Sure, there's a UN Headquarters, but that's not the UN itself. Likewise, there may be a Scholomance school somewhere, or perhaps several of them, where Warlocks go to meet; but there's no one central place called THE Scholomance.
