: a loooooooong time ago in MacAddict issue 8 there was an
: interview with jason Jones of bungie about myth
: it's very interesting..
: also he mentions the Faceless Man as one of the Fallen
: Lords.. so they were going to implement him in unless
: the Faceless Man is one of the ones that made it into
: the game (not bloody likely)
: they also metion soulblighter and the deceiver
: and it is not the watcher since he is in the screen shots
: from the alpha..
: anyway
What Jason says in that interview about the cycle directly contradicts what GURPS Myth says. He refers to it working in half millenia: first half dark, second half light. I had thought what GURPS said seemed screwy, as it didn't jibe with the Myth II epilogue. The old Heron says that Soulblighter may have broken the cycle. According to the GURPS Myth timeline, the cycle was already broken at that point and he should have known. I'm sending another errata report.
Also interesting to note that he makes it very clear that Soulblighter and the Faceless Man are different people.
He also seems to imply that the Siege of Madrigal was originally the first mission.
I'll try to find my copy of MacAddict 8 and get some better scans.
