: You're kidding, right? b = 36. t = 27. h + b + t = 72.
[slaps self] DOH!
I've forgotten just about all my Algebra 2 our of dissuse. I kept simplifying it till I only had one var, b or t, then solved for that and added it to 9, completely forgetting that there was another var to be solved for. Stupid me. This is the kind of thing that got me a lousy 590 math score on my SATs (tho I got 700 on the verbal, and this is the first time I've taken them).
: Uh, actually I went out to dinner with her and then we
: watched David Lynch's "The Elephant Man" and
: wrestled her dog. But that's as good as sex, right?
: Say yes! SAY YES!
Not as good, but infinitely better than what I spent the night doing: nothing. Anything is greater than zero (there's no negatives in the Real World, only in math. Tho if you look at things from a physics perspective there's plenty of negatives, but I'm not in physicist-mode at the moment).
