: I was reading my GURPS last night when I noted something
: unusual. While listing the history of the human empire
: the book seemed to imply that the Cath'bruig empire
: also incorperated the westen part of the continent; or
: at least the old Provence.
: Sense the book said the 20 years war was a war of
: suscession it does not seem unreasonable to look at
: the possibilaty that it was also a war of sesession.
: If the reasons the West could have had to sever ties with
: the East were importent enough to fight for 20 years,
: it could tie in to Forrests' theory about the Leveler
: being a clenseing force.

: If the Cath'bruig empire had become complacent about the
: needs of its westen most people (eximting tax season
: of cource) it may have been the begining of the rot
: that the leveler helps sweep away.
: Also, the name "The Provnce" would suggest that
: the area was once under forren rule.
