: This is interesting..
: I really doubt that The Watcher is Bahl'al.
: A long time ago I was looking at the first screen shots
: of myth on a MacAddict CD. I think they were from the
: Myth Alpha. I was reading the info bars in the screen
: shots. One made a reference to the Watcher and another
: to Bahl'al. If indeed these two were one in the same I
: back during the Alpha they would've both been Bahl'al
: not seperate people.
: feel free to disagree but that's how I see it.
: I think Bahl'al is(was) the source of Thrall for Balor.
: It says that he searched for the dream of unlife in
: the thrall's info bar. I would imagine Bahl'al to be a
: thrall himself. The Watcher does not come to mind.
: So this would mean that The Faceless Man would be The
: Watcher which makes more sense.
: so that would make the 6 fallen: The Watcher
: The Deceiver
: Soulblighter
: Shiver
: Bahl'al
: Bonsplitter
: now about bonesplitter..
: bonesplitter was a myrmidion
: in that eidos thing it says it was turned from the light
: what group was turned from the light? myrmidions of
: course
: plus bonesplitter is a myrmidion name
: he was prolly the leader of all the myrmidion
One other thing you need to consider. Have you read GURPS Myth?
: also something about the Black Company..
: I read the book not too long ago and recall something
: about creatures sealed in some tomb
: i forget what they were called but they were described as
: Leppord-Men and rmeinded me a lot of Myrkridia
You're thinking of the Forvalaka. And you're right, the circumstances are slightly similar, but Bungie probably took the idea for Myrks from somewhere else, assuming they didn't just make it up themselves.
