Hehe... those are foods, but I might as well be swearing. Lutefisk is lyed, jellied cod, full of little glasslike shards of bone. Blodkarsk is a cocktail consisting primarily of vodka (IIRC) and cow's blood, though the first-time drinker isn't told that the blood is only from a cow. [evil grin]
The basic rule for eating lutefisk is that first you must drink so much blodkarsk that you can't tell it's lutefisk you're eating.
Don't you just love Norwiegan cuisine?
