I remember that when I first began to frequent this website, I read that theory and liked the idea that the Leveller is actually a good guy. A sort of anti-hero style being similar to Darth Vader! His actions are evil, but inside he is subconsciously fighting to protect the Light.

But of course, if any of this was ever revealed for sure then things would not be so fun!
