: In a particular few centuries, in a particular few
: countries, knights were mounted. The word
: "knight" means simply the military servant
: of a high-ranking lord, and as such there have been
: knights at all times and in all parts of the world.
: The fact that we remember the Knights of the Round
: Table most vividly has little bearing on this. It's
: like saying you can't be a king if you don't wear a
: gold crown with a spiky top.

Yes, but the setting of the Myth world corresponds with those particular centuries (i.e., early Middle Ages) and particular countries (i.e., western Europe).

: Besides, this is the Myth world, and in the Myth world...

: Stygian *Knights.*

: 'Nuff zed.

Actually, without the single pregame pic that seems to be depicting a horse (it could conceivably be a large donkey) and the narrator's mention of wild horses drawing and quartering a Leveller before Ileum, there'd be no reason to believe that horses exist at all in the Myth world.
