The thing is, I think we shouldn't take GURPS too seriously. It is acknowledged to be written by someone with a knowledge of Myth that is somewhere only marginally better than the average Asylum-goer. My view is that it should be treated with the same respect as an Asylum article, albeit an unusually elaborate and long-winded one. What say ye?
