: Maybe it's just me, but I liked the way they introduced
: the Deceiver and the Watcher in Myth. I got a strong
: impression that they wanted little to do with this
: fight with the legion and would rather duke it out
: with each other again. Afterall, the Deceiver spent a
: year looking for the Watcher's arm and it was very
: cool to hear that the Watcher stormed through the
: Cloudspine and clashed with the Deceiver's army and
: for the first time hear that there has been a long
: history between the two. I enjoyed that aspect of the
: story very much. True, Myth 2 did give detail on the
: Deceiver's previous lifestyle as an Avatar and his
: inception into Balor's Fallen Lords, but I think it
: all boils down to the fact that I am a Watcher junkie

Hey, no problem there. The watcher was the 2nd or 3rd most powerful sorcerer in history, so that makes him pretty *%$@ing cool. Who was the first?
: To me, he's the most intriguing character (along with the
: Head, whom I think is the fifth Fallen Lord, and was a
: high ranking official for Connacht alongside
: Soulblighter) and I would have loved to learn more
: about him and his hatred for the Deceiver and his love
: for Shades. Perhaps, since Shades are dead Avatar, the
: Watcher killed some of the Deceiver's Avatar friends
: or family (whatever would tick him off) and made them
: into Shades, and that drove him nuts and his passion
: to kill the Watcher was born then, or maybe it goes
: even deeper, we are never given hints.

: expecting more info on the history of the Wind Age and

Please do. Sometimes I wish Bungie would just end our suffering and give us all the answers, but (1) they may not even have the answers and (2) that would take all the fun out of myth.
